Sales Representative Internship

What you’ll be doing:
  • Research leads, develop entrance strategies, and qualify your prospects to generate
    new business partners for individual and company profitability
  • Present transportation options to your customer base, allowing yourself to build a
    complete transportation and supply chain solution for the customer
  • Partner with businesses on transportation budgets and quarterly reviews to develop
    long term relationships
  • Monitor and update transportation management systems, ensuring compliance and
    policy procedures
  • Proactively manage situations and challenges by monitoring and communicating with all
    parties involved
  • Continuously develop carrier relations allowing for optimal solutions for your customer
  • Manage existing business accounts and continuously exude the highest level of
    customer service
What you need:
  • Pursing a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Logistics, Marketing,
    International Business, Sales, Psychology, or another related major
  • Have the drive, assertiveness, passion, and dedication to succeed in the logistics
  • Ability to work independently while supporting an overall team mentality
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to work in a blended role of operations and sales in an office environment
  • Manage complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly and
  • Able to handle and prioritize high call volumes and customer inquiries
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Well organized, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work
  • Ability to multitask; manage multiple phone lines, email, freight management system, quoting, load board bids
